Warm Spice Cider

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/40 cupof salt
  • 1/10 cupof allspice
  • 1/10 cupof whole cloves
  • 1/3 cupof whole cinnamon sticks
  • 1/40 cupof nutmeg
  • 20 cupsof apple cider


  1. Pour apple cider into a large stock pot and put it on a low heat. Put sugar, spices and salt on a square of clean cheesecloth. Make a bag by pulling up the edges and tying with a string. Put the bag in the cider and simmer for about half an hour or more.
