Turkey Stock

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsof turkey neck
  • 1 cupof turkey tail
  • 1 cupof diced celery
  • 1 cupof diced carrot
  • 1/2 cupof diced onion
  • 1/6 cupof garlic
  • 1/8 cupof rosemary
  • 1/8 cupof peppercorns
  • 4 cupsof water

Instructions

  1. Put the turkey neck and tail into medium-size pan. Put there diced onion, carrot and celery. Next, add bay leaf rosemary, peppercorns, and garlic. Cover everything with three or four cups of water.

  2. Turn the heat on high and bring the water to boil. Lower the heat to medium to keep it from boiling. Simmer it for 45 minutes. It will release the flavors into the liquid. Store the stock in the fridge until ready to use.
