Squash Pie

  • 1 cupof butternut squash
  • 1 cupof heavy cream
  • 1 cupof sugar
  • 3/4 cupof eggs
  • 1/4 cupof brandy
  • 1/10 cupof cinnamon
  • 1/20 cupof ginger
  • 1/20 cupof salt
  • 1/30 cupof fresh grated nutmeg
  • 1 cupof pie crust


  1. Take a mixing bowl and add the butternut squash, one cup of heavy cream, one cup of sugar, three slightly beaten eggs, 1/4 cup of brandy, one teaspoon of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of ginger and half a teaspoon of salt. Grate in some fresh nutmeg. Stir the ingredients.

  2. Pour the mixture into a pie crust which should be put on a pie pan. Put your oven at 450 degrees for the first 10 minutes of baking. Then you need to turn it down to 300 degrees and bake for another 25 minutes or until ready.
