Spicy Spaghetti Carbonara

  • 1/2 cupof chopped onions
  • 1 cupof hot peppers (tatase)
  • 1/4 cupof eggs
  • 1/5 cupof parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cupof chopped garlic
  • 1/3 cupof chopped spring onions
  • 1/3 cupof double cream
  • 1/5 cupof olive oil
  • 2 cupsof spaghetti
  • 1 cupof bacon
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/10 cupof pepper
  • 1/10 cupof chopped parsley


  1. Cook your pasta on boiling salted water until cooked al dente (with a slight bite). Drain, rinse in cold water and drizzle with olive oil and set aside.

  2. Combine egg yolk, cream and parmesan in a small bowl. Sautee in a hot pan with a little oil, till cooked and set aside.

  3. Sweat the bacon in a hot pan. Add the chopped onions and cook. Add cooked pasta, egg mixture and toss a little, stir in pepper paste and toss. Season with salt and black pepper as required. take off the flame and finish with chopped parsley.
