Salt And Pepper Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsof shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1/20 cupof salt
  • 1/20 cupof white pepper
  • 2 cupsof oil for deep-frying
  • For Frying Batter
  • 1/2 cupof all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cupof corn starch
  • 1/20 cupof baking powder
  • 1/4 cupof egg white
  • 1/2 cupof water
  • 1/7 cupof cooking oil
  • 1/20 cupof salt
  • For Stir-Fry
  • 1/7 cupof oil
  • 1/2 cupof scallion, rough chopped
  • 1/7 cupof sliced jalapeno
  • 1/20 cupof salt
  • 1/20 cupof white pepper

Instructions

  1. Take your prepared shrimps and marinate them with white pepper and salt for about 15 minutes.

  2. For frying batter, combine all the ingredients until well incorporated.

  3. Add your shrimps to the frying batter and coat them evenly.

  4. Take a wok and heat the oil. It should be enough to cover the shrimps.

  5. Drop the battered shrimps into the wok and deep fry them until golden brown.

  6. Put your shrimps on the plate and drain the excess oil.

  7. Add a little bit of oil to your wok and drop in your chopped green onion and jalapeno.

  8. Stir-fry until fragrant.

  9. Add the shrimps back and stir.

  10. Add a little bit of salt and white pepper and stir again. Enjoy!
