- 1 cupof purple rice
- 6 cupsof water
- 1 cupof sago
- 1/4 cupof sugar
- 1 cupof coconut milk
Take a big pot and put there rinsed purple rice. Rinse it with water. Bring it to boil. Then, let it simmer on medium heat with slightly opened lid. If the water starts getting low, add more water to it. Boil it, until the rice is totally tender. It takes about an hour.
Meanwhile, you may cook the sago. Put sago into boiling water on high heat. Let it cook for a minute. Then, steep it without heat for another 5 minutes.
Pour sago into the rice. Add brown sugar and boil it until sugar is dissolved. Lastly, stir in coconut milk before serving. Done!
