Pumpkin Zeppole

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsof all-purpose flour
  • 1/5 cupof baking powder
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/7 cupof cinnamon
  • 1/8 cupof grated nutmeg
  • 1 cupof ricotta cheese
  • 1 cupof pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cupof sugar
  • 1 cupof eggs
  • 1/8 cupof vanilla extract
  • 4 cupsof oil
  • 1/5 cupof cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and grated nutmeg.

  2. Whisk the ingredients well.

  3. Take a separate pan and add the ricotta cheese, vanilla extract, pumpkin puree, sugar, 2 large eggs.

  4. Whisk the ingredients well until smooth.

  5. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix well.

  6. Take a fryer and add the oil.

  7. Form the zeppoles with a help of two spoons and fry them at 375 degrees for about 2 minutes.

  8. Finally, sprinkle your zeppoles with cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
