Potato Pancakes

  • 3 cupsof potatoes
  • 1/2 cupof onions
  • 1/2 cupof eggs
  • 1/10 cupof sour cream
  • 1/5 cupof flour
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/10 cupof pepper
  • 1/5 cupof goat cheese
  • 1/5 cupof celery
  • 1/2 cupof avocado
  • 1/4 cupof clarified butter (or sunflower oil)
  • 1/2 cupof smoked salmon


  1. Finely grate potatoes and onion. Drain off any excess liquid and put potatoes and onions in a bowl. Add 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of sour cream. Then add 2 tablespoons of wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of pepper. Mix the ingredients. Cover a bowl with a towel and leave for a while.

  2. Pound goat cheese, finely chop celery, avocado, and smoked salmon. Mix the ingredients and let the bowl rest in a cold place.

  3. Fry the mixture from the first bowl on well heated, clarified butter or sunflower oil. When it is ready, add remoulade from the second bowl on top.
