Pie Crust

  • 3 cupsof flour
  • 1/10 cupof sugar
  • 1/20 cupof salt
  • 3/4 cupof cold unsalted butter
  • 2 cupsof dry rice and beans


  1. Put three cups of flour into a bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 12 graded tablespoons of cold unsalted butter. Mix the ingredients well.

  2. Beat one egg in another bowl. Add some water and beat it again. Add it to a mixing bowl. Shape the dough into two nice disks and refrigerate it for a few hours. Next, roll it into a baking pan. Put a parchment paper on the crust. Add some dry rice and beans to hold the crust from rising. Put it in an oven to 400 degrees. Then, take it off, remove the dry rice and beans and put it back in an oven.
