Mince Curry

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cupof chopped onions
  • 1/2 cupof oil
  • 1/4 cupof cinnamon sticks
  • 1/5 cupof eliachi pods
  • 1/5 cupof anisettes
  • 1/30 cupof bay leaves
  • 1/10 cupof jeera seeds
  • 1/2 cupof chopped tomato
  • 1/3 cupof curry powder
  • 1/5 cupof ginger and garlic paste
  • 1/10 cupof dhania powder
  • 1/10 cupof jeera powder
  • 5 cupsof mince
  • 1/10 cupof rough salt
  • 1 cupof potatoes
  • 1 cupof water
  • 1/2 cupof peas

Instructions

  1. Boil 6 tablespoons of oil, add one small chopped onion, 3 cinnamon sticks, 3 elachie pods, 3 anisettes, 2 bay leaves and 1 teaspoon of jeera seeds in a pot. Next, add 1 chopped tomato and 3 tablespoons of curry powder and stir. Then add 2 tablespoons of ginger and garlic paste and stir again. Add 1 teaspoon of dhania powder and 1 teaspoon of jeera powder. Then add 1 kg of mince and mix the ingredients well. Add one teaspoon of rough salt. You can also add a little bit of water. Cook your mince for around 5 minutes. Next, add 3 potatoes cut up into cubes, 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of peas and mix well. Cook the mixture for around 20 to 25 minutes until your potatoes are soft.
