Lightened Up Molasses Cookies

  • 3/4 cupof unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cupof Truvia Brown Sugar blend, plus extra for rolling
  • 1/2 cupof egg
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/20 cupof ground cloves
  • 1/20 cupof powdered ginger
  • 1/10 cupof ground cinnamon
  • 1/7 cupof baking soda


  1. Take a bowl and combine the butter, egg, sugar and molasses.

  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined.

  3. Combine the flour, cloves, ginger cinnamon and baking soda and sift together.

  4. Add the flour mixture to the molasses one and mix until combined.

  5. Cover the mixture and put in a fridge for a few hours.

  6. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  7. Scoop two tablespoons of your dough at a time and roll the balls.

  8. Roll them around in a small cup of Truvia Brown Sugar blend and set onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

  9. Bake the rolls for about 10 minutes.

  10. Cool the cookies and enjoy.
