  • 1 cupof besan flour
  • 3/4 cupof water
  • 1/20 cupof cooking soda
  • 1/8 cupof powdered cardamom
  • 1/8 cupof powdered cloves
  • 1/10 cupof broken cashews
  • 2 cupsof sugar
  • 1/10 cupof raisins
  • 1/20 cupof oil
  • 1/20 cupof ghee


  1. Add ghee into a pan and fry it. Put the cashews on the pan and fry them until light brown color. Next, add raisins and fry until golden brown.

  2. Take a middle-sized bowl and mix cardamom and cloves, besan flour and water. When the batter is ready, take a scoop full of batter and add into perforated scoop. Let the drops of batter fall down from the scoop into boiling oil.

  3. Into separate pan, mix sugar and water and heat it up until single string consistency. Once you add the beads, add there fried raisings with cashews, powdered cardamom and sugar. Squeeze them into the balls and serve.
