Jamaican Saltfish Fritters

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupof spring onion, cut
  • 1/2 cupof white onion, cut
  • 1/7 cupof thyme
  • 1/8 cupof scotch bonnet pepper, cut
  • 2 cupsof saltfish
  • 1/10 cupof pepper
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 2 cupsof plain flour
  • 1/2 cupof water
  • 1/4 cupof olive oil

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add the flour, white onion, spring onion, thyme, scotch bonnet pepper, pepper, salt, and saltfish and mix the ingredients.

  2. Add a little bit of water and mix again.

  3. Take a frying pan, add olive oil, and put it over medium size heat.

  4. Use a spoon to add the fritters to your pan.

  5. Fry them for at least 5 minutes on both sides.

  6. Put them on a napkin to dry. Enjoy!
