Jamaican Rice & Peas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cupsof soaked pulses
  • 1/2 cupof chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cupof chopped onion
  • 1 cupof cream
  • 1/8 cupof spices
  • 1/4 cupof salted butter
  • 1/8 cupof salt
  • 3 cupsof boiled rice

Instructions

  1. Take some water in a pan and put it on the stove to heat it up. Wait until the water boils, and then add the soaked pulses. Now add the capsicum, onion and cream. Sprinkle some spices on it.

  2. Add the butter and the salt now. Stir it up and let it heat for a few minutes. Add the boiled rice and stir it. Let it heat and itís done.
