Jamaican Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupof coconut water
  • 1/4 cupof milk powder
  • 1/2 cupof bananas
  • 1/4 cupsof cornmeal
  • 1 cupof milk
  • 1/4 cupof oats
  • 1/2 cupof shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/10 cupof grated nutmeg
  • 1/7 cupof vanilla essence
  • 1/10 cupof cinnamon
  • 1/10 cupof mixed spice
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/3 cupof brown sugar
  • 1/2 cupof condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Take a medium-size pot and add 1/2 cup of water. Add some coconut milk powder and whisk. Put it on a low heat.

  2. Add cut bananas, cornmeal, shredded cheddar cheese, oats and milk. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into your pot. Stir well. Cook for about 20 minutes. Add some grated nutmeg. Stir well. Add vanilla essence, a pinch of cinnamon, some mixed spice, brown sugar, condensed and some salt. Cook for a few more minutes and enjoy.
