Jamaican Independence Day Dish Served With Ackee And Saltfish

Ingredients

  • 1/7 cupof olive oil
  • 1/2 cupof white onion
  • 1/2 cupof tomato
  • 1/2 cupof spring onion
  • 1 cupof mixed peppers
  • 1/10 cupof pepper
  • 1 cupof saltfish

Instructions

  1. Take a frying pan and add a little bit of olive oil.

  2. Add 1/2 cup of diced white onion, cut tomato, diced spring onion, diced mixed peppers, a little bit of pepper and 1 cup of saltfish and stir well.

  3. Next add 1 cup of ackee. Stir well.

  4. Cook on a low heat, stirring time to time.

  5. Enjoy your dish with cooked bananas.
