Jamaican Coconut Fried Dumplings

  • 1 1/2 cupsof self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cupof grated coconut
  • 2/7 cupof brown sugar
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/4 cupof milk
  • 1 cupof frying oil


  1. Take a big bowl, add the flour, grated coconut, brown sugar, salt, and milk and form the dough my mixing the ingredients with your hand.

  2. Wrap your dough in a plastic wrap and put in a fridge for about 20 minutes.

  3. Brake the dough and form the dumplings.

  4. Take a pan and add the frying oil.

  5. Put it over high heat.

  6. Add the dumpling and fry them until ready.
