Jamaican Banana Fritter

Ingredients

  • 4 cupsof bananas
  • 1/4 cupof sugar
  • 1 cupof plain flour
  • 1/12 cupof vanilla
  • 1/12 cupof cinnamon
  • 1/12 cupof mixed spice
  • 1/12 cupof grated nutmeg
  • 1/12 cupof salt
  • 1/2 cupof oil

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin of your bananas and add to a bowl.

  2. Take a fork and crush your bananas.

  3. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar and give it a little whisk.

  4. Add the flour and stir.

  5. Add the vanilla, cinnamon, mixed spice, nutmeg, and salt and stir.

  6. Take a frying pan, add the oil and put it over medium size heat.

  7. Use a spoon to add the fritters and fry them for about 5 minutes on each side or until ready.

  8. Put the fritters on a napkin to remove the oil. Enjoy!
