Indian Mutton Curry

Ingredients

  • 5 cupsof mutton
  • 1/2 cupof cooking oil
  • 1/2 cupof onion
  • 1/2 cupof tomato
  • 1/2 cupof curry powder
  • 1/7 cupof turmeric powder
  • 1/7 cupof jeera powder
  • 1/7 cupof dhania powder
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/2 cupof cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cupof elachi pods
  • 1/5 cupof ginger/garlic paste
  • 1/5 cupof curry leaf
  • 1/5 cupof dhania leaves

Instructions

  1. Take a pot and heat the cooking oil.

  2. Add the cut onion and cook until slightly brown.

  3. Add the turmeric powder, dhania powder, chopped tomato, curry powder, jeera powder, ginger paste and cinnamon sticks and stir for about 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Add the mutton and curry leaves and cook for about 30 minutes.

  5. Add the potatoes when meat is almost cooked.

  6. Garnish with dhania leaves.
