Green pea soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsof dried peas
  • 8 cupsof tap water
  • 1 cupof diced onion
  • 1/8 cupof thyme
  • 1/2 cupof red chilies
  • 1/8 cupof oil
  • 1/10 cupof salt

Instructions

  1. Cook peas in water.

  2. Take a pan and put there some olive oil. Caramelize diced onion and salt.

  3. Once the peas are done, add caramelized beans, chili, thyme and salt.

  4. If you use a slow-cooker you may start cooking peas in the evening so that they will be ready in the morning.
