  • 1/2 cupof onions
  • 1/6 cupof garlic
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/6 cupof raw sugar
  • 1/10 cupof bay leaves
  • 1/10 cupof olive oil
  • 6 cupsof water


  1. Peel the onion and slice it. Then, slice the garlic as well. Take a big pot and put the onions and garlic there. Add some sugar and cook it on medium heat for about 15 minutes. It will cook in its own juice. The onion should caramelize for these 15 minutes.

  2. After that, all you need is to add salt, oil, bay leave and pour it with water. Continue to cook for another 15-20 minutes. If it is needed, you may add more salt. Serve the soup as it is! Have a nice meal!
