  • 5 cupsof Betty Crocker Super Moist white cake mix
  • 1 cupof water
  • 1/2 cupof vegetable oil
  • 1 cupof egg whites
  • 1/20 gel or liguid food colors (neon pink, neon purple, neon orange, neon green, classic blue)
  • 3/2 cupof marshmallow creme
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 5/4 cupof powdered sugar


  1. Make the batter as it is mentioned on the box. Divide it into 5 small bowls. Make 5 different colors of batter by adding 1/4 teaspoon of food color in each bowl. Blend them very well.

  2. Fill muffin cup and make 12 cupcakes of each color. Bake them for 10-12 minutes. Next, cool them completely.

  3. In a large bowl beat marshmallow creme and butter. Beat in powdered sugar until it is fluffy. Divide the frosting into 5 small bowls and lightly tint frosting in each bowl using the same food colors.

  4. Assemble each popper using 2 mini cupcakes. Cut tops off each cupcake horizontally. Pipe a little bit of frosting on cut side. Form a sandwich using the cut side of cupcake.
