Cream of Celery Soup

  • 1/4 cupof butter
  • 1 cupof onions
  • 1/6 cupof bacon
  • 3/4 cupof potatoes
  • 1/10 cupof flour
  • 2 cupsof chicken broth
  • 1/4 cupof parsley, thyme and bay leaves
  • 1 cupof milk


  1. Take a big bowl and put there some butter. Let it melt. Then, add chopped onion, bacon and potatoes. Cook that down. Add celery and let it cook for 5 minutes. Then, add a little bit of flour. Add 2 cups of chicken broth and let vegetables soft. Chop some parsley, thyme and bay leaves. Add them to soup as well.

  2. When the vegetables are cooked and soft, put the mixture into blender and blend the mixture. When you have blended it, bring it back to a pan and add a little bit of milk. Stir that around. It will make soup lighter. Enjoy!
