Cinnamon Sponge

Ingredients

  • 1 cupof unsalted butter
  • 1 cupof sugar
  • 1 cupof self-rising flour
  • 1/10 cupof mixed spice
  • 1/10 cupof cinnamon
  • 1/10 cupof vanilla
  • 1 cupof eggs
  • 1/7 cupof milk

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add 1 cup of unsalted butter.

  2. Add 1 cup of sugar and mix the ingredients.

  3. Add 1 cup of self-rising flour and a little bit of cinnamon and mix well.

  4. Add a pinch of vanilla and mix again.

  5. In a separate bowl whisk two eggs and whisk them into the first bowl with a little bit of milk.

  6. Preheat your oven and bake you mixture in a baking tray greased it with butter for about 20 to 25 minutes.
