Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients

  • Filling
  • 1 cupof cinnamon toast crunch
  • 1/2 cupof sugar
  • 1/5 cupof cinnamon
  • Crumble
  • 1 cupof sugar
  • 1 cupof flour
  • 1/7 cupof cinnamon
  • 1 cupof cinnamon toast crunch
  • 1 cupof unsalted butter
  • Cake
  • 3 cupsof flour
  • 1/7 cupof baking powder
  • 1/7 cupof cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cupof sugar
  • 1 cupof canola oil
  • 3 cupsof eggs
  • 1 cupof buttermilk
  • 1/7 cupof vanilla

Instructions

  1. To make the filling, put the cereal unto your food processor and grind.

  2. Mix it with the cinnamon and the sugar. Reserve.

  3. For the crumble, take a large bowl and combine the ingredients and form small balls of dough.

  4. Cool the mixture.

  5. To make the cake, preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.

  6. Sift the dry ingredients.

  7. Take a mixer bowl and combine the sugar, the oil, eggs and buttermilk.

  8. Add the dry ingredients to the mixture in 2 batches.

  9. Add the vanilla. Mix well.

  10. Take a baking pan, add a little bit of butter and flour and pour 1/4 of the cake mix.

  11. Sprinkle some of the filling, add the cake layer and another layer of filling.

  12. Repeat the same operation until two mixtures finishes.

  13. Bake your cake for about 30 minutes.

  14. Remove the cake, place the crumble on top and bake for another 45 minutes.

  15. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar when it is cooled.
