- 3 cupsof chicken breasts
- 1 cupof sliced ham or prosciutto
- 1 cupof sliced cheese (swiss, gruyere, or brie)
- 1/2 cupof flour
- 1/2 cupof egg wash
- 1/2 cupof water
- 1/2 cupof breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cupof thyme
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Cover workspace with parchment or wax paper and lay out chicken breasts. After that, cover them with another sheet of paper.
Pound meat with flat side of a tenderizer. Add ham or prosciutto. Next, add cheese. You can use swiss, gruyere, or brie.
Set up your dredging stations: flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs. Roll up your layers tightly. Use a toothpick to secure if you need it. Next, dip them into flour and then into egg wash (egg + splash of water). Finally, dip them into breadcrumbs seasoned with spices like thyme.
Place the rolls on sheet pan lined with foil. Spray some oil on foil to proven sticking. Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Enjoy with some healthy vegetables.
