- 1 cupof heavy cream
- 1/3 cupof sugar
- 1/10 cupof salt
- 1 cupof egg yolks
- 1/7 cupof vanilla extract
- 1 cupof butter milk
Take a pan and add the heavy cream, 1/3 cup of sugar and a little bit of salt and bring it to a boil.
In the meantime, take 1/3 cup of sugar and 6 egg yolks whisk them together in a bowl. Beat it until it is a little thicken and light in color. Whisk and add a little bit of boiling cream. That is going to bring the temperature up in the eggs. Add the rest of the boiling cream and whisk. Add the mixture back into the pan and cook it for a little bit. Stay with a pot and keep mixing. When the mixture is thicken just a little bit. Add vanilla extract and butter milk. Whisk the mixture. Strain the mixture through the sieve in chill it.
Use your ice cream maker to produce the ice cream from this mixture. Put in a freezer-safe container and let it set up for about 4 hours in a freezer.
