Broiled Grapefruit

  • 2 cupsof grapefruit
  • 1/10 cupof rum
  • 1/8 cupof brown sugar
  • 1/20 cupof cayenne


  1. Take one grapefruit and slice it in half. Next, slice a thin piece of both ends. Cut between the membranes and pitch the seeds. Splash the grapefruit with rum (a couple tablespoons).

  2. Mix 3 tablespoons of brown sugar with a pinch of cayenne. Sprinkle the grapefruit with sugar and spice. Next, put it under the fire and broil until bubbly and browned for around 4 minutes.
