Braised Pork on Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cupsof pork
  • 1/8 cupof garlic
  • 1/4 cupof vegetable oil
  • 1/10 cupof anise
  • 1/10 cupof cinnamon
  • 1/10 cupof spice powder
  • 1/10 cupof white pepper
  • 1 cupof rice wine
  • 1/2 cupof soy sauce
  • 1/4 cupof dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cupof fried shallots
  • 2 cupsof water
  • 1/8 cupof sugar
  • 6 cupsof eggs

Instructions

  1. Put pork into salted boiling water for 10 minutes.

  2. Then cut it into small pieces.

  3. Cut the garlic.

  4. Take a pot, put there some vegetable oil and garlic.

  5. Then add anise and cinnamon stick. The garlic should be slightly brown.

  6. Next add pork and brown it for 5 minutes.

  7. Add spice powder and white pepper.

  8. Next add rice wine and soy sauce and dark soy sauce.

  9. Then you need to add fried shallots, water and sugar. Let it boil and simmer for around an hour.

  10. In 30 minutes before finishing add to the sauce hard boiled eggs and continue cooking.
