- 1/4 cupof cherry jam
- 1/4 cupof kirsch cherry liquor
- 1 cupof dark chocolate
- 1/2 cupof cream
- 2 1/2 cupof whipped cream
First of all, you need to have a cooked chocolate cake for this recipe.
To make the chocolate ganache, melt the chocolate and the cream in the microwave for 10 seconds.
Cut the cherries and reserve.
Mix the kirsch with some cherries to enhance the flavor.
Combine the cherries and the jam.
Moist the cake with the liquor.
Spread the ganache over the cake.
Add the whipped cream on top.
Next, add the cherries on top.
Cover with the second piece of cake.
Spread the ganache over the top part of the second piece and pit two whole cherries.
