- 4 cupsof rice
- 2 cupsof Urad Dal
- 1/10 cupof methi seeds
- 1/10 cupof salt to taste
- 1/10 cupof Oil for coating the pan
- 2 cupsof water to soak the grains
Mix rice with meth seeds. Soak in sufficient water. Soak the urad dal separately. Let them both soak overnight.
Next morning, grind the rice and urad dal together into a smooth batter. Add some salt to the taste. Cover the pan with some oil. When it is hot, pour a ladle full of batter on the pan. Spread it over the pan.
Cook it from both sides until it is slightly brown. Remove from heat and serve hot with chicken curry.
