Ackee And Saltfish

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsof saltfish meat
  • 1 cupof canned ackee
  • 1 cupof onion
  • 1 cupof tomatoes
  • 1/10 cupof thyme
  • 1 cupof red bell pepper
  • 1/7 cupof minced garlic
  • 1/8 cupof diced jalapeno
  • 1/4 cupof butter
  • 1/10 cupof salt
  • 1/10 cupof black pepper

Instructions

  1. First, slice your onion.

  2. Next cut your tomatoes and remove the seeds.

  3. Then, slice them.

  4. Dice your red bell pepper.

  5. Take a frying pan and put in on heat.

  6. Add a little bit of butter, pepper and onion. Soften them for a while.

  7. Next, add the jalapeno, garlic and thyme. Stir well.

  8. Add the tomatoes. Stir well.

  9. Add the saltfish and cover your pan.

  10. Finally, add the ackee. Stir well.

  11. Add a little bit of salt and black pepper.

  12. Cook until ready. Enjoy!
